Leeds is about to get a lot busier on site.

The YORbuild Major Works 2 framework officially went live on 6 July 2026, running through to July 2030 and covering £1.5 billion worth of public sector construction across Yorkshire and the Humber. Eleven contractors have been appointed to the framework, including Galliford Try, Kier Construction, Morgan Sindall, Vinci Building, Wates Construction, Graham, McLaren, Willmott Dixon, Robertson Construction, Caddick and Tilbury Douglas.

For the next four years, these firms will be delivering major works across the region. With Leeds consistently ranking as one of the most active construction markets in the UK, a significant portion of that activity is expected to land here.
